All Kutandara Center ensembles are also available for hire privately to provide music and entertainment for your next special event.
Our bands perform primarily in the summer months, but occasionally perform publicly during the school year. Please contact us if you would like to be placed on our email list to receive announcements of upcoming performances and Kutandara Center events.

Kutandara Marimba introduces audiences to African culture and music through this magical musical fable of a lion who prefers to sing with the birds instead of doing the oh-so-usual lion things. In the end, it is the singing lion that saves the day…with a little humorous help from Gudo the Baboon. The second half of this exciting family show will feature the fabulous music of Kutandara Marimba!
